The Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) is Albania's independent regulatory body responsible for licensing and overseeing the country's broadcasting and audiovisual media sector. Established in 2007 as a statutory authority of the Albanian Government, AMA operates under Law No. 97/2013 "On Audiovisual Media in the Republic of Albania" and serves as the primary regulator for audio and audiovisual broadcasting services, including television, radio, and digital media platforms.
